Lincoln University

Lincoln University is New Zealand’s specialist land-based university and for more than 135 years, Lincoln has focused on improving New Zealand’s land-based knowledge, wealth and productivity. Lincoln is one of eight universities in New Zealand and is governed by a Council. Lincoln University's Council is responsible for the strategic direction and performance of the University and ensuring that all statutory requirements are met. The Council appoints the Vice-Chancellor who, as the Chief Executive Officer, is responsible for managing the key activities of the University. The delivery of teaching and research is the responsibility of the University's three faculties and two divisions: - Faculty of Agribusiness and Commerce - Faculty of Agriculture and Life Sciences - Faculty of Environment, Society and Design - University Studies and English Language Division - LincolnFirst Telford Division The University's qualifications and research cover agriculture, sciences, conservation and ecology, commerce, environmental management, tourism, agribusiness, sport and recreation, property management, and landscape architecture, to make a very real difference to the success of not only New Zealand but also the world. Lincoln students come from all over New Zealand and from roughly 60 countries around the world. Once studies are completed, Lincoln graduates can be found around the globe making a real difference.
